Legal Terms
Terms of Use
The terms for the Fenaki alpha site, in plain language.
What Fenaki is
Fenaki is a media player for Windows and Linux. This site is its marketing home: it describes the app and collects alpha waitlist signups. It is not the app itself.
Alpha status, no warranty
Fenaki is alpha software. Everything here is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Features, prices and plans can change or be withdrawn at any time.
Waitlist
Joining the waitlist only asks for your email so we can tell you when builds ship. It is not a purchase, a contract or a promise of a release date.
Acceptable use
Use this site as intended. Do not attempt to break it, scrape it at scale, or use it to break the law.
Intellectual property
The Fenaki name, logo and site content belong to the project. Third-party names such as Plex, Infuse and Jellyfin belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Fenaki is not liable for any loss arising from use of this site or the alpha software. Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory law.
Changes
We may update these terms as the project changes. The date above shows the latest version.
